removing the dark area in my header
  • I just uploaded the current Arras theme and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the dark space in the header. I know I could just upload a large image but I would prefer my background extend into that space and then my logo on top of that. (I have already uploaded my logo). Please advise. I'm sure it's something simple that I'm missing. Thank you! blog.
  • Hi Robbin

    I find the best way to do these kinds of adjustments is to use Firefox browser with the Firebug plugin - this lets you analyse the different elements of the page, and experiment with different CSS adjustments.

    To help you out, looking at your site I see the logo has padding around it like this -

    .logo {padding: 21px 0 25px 10px;}

    So add a line to the bottom of your style.css file, something like this -

    .logo {padding: 5px 0 5px 10px !important;}

    Change the values to whatever you like - using Firebug, you can experiment in-browser to see what looks best.

    Hth. :)
